The AI Society is an innovative and dynamic club at Cranfield University, dedicated to building a vibrant community passionate about artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Open to all students, the club inspires creativity, ethical leadership, and hands-on learning through a variety of engaging activities.

Aims and Objectives

  • Raise awareness of AI innovation and emerging technologies.

  • Provide AI education and introduce fundamental concepts to members of all skill levels.

  • Promote the ethical and responsible use of AI.

  • Help members identify practical problems and explore suitable AI tools and solutions.

  • Encourage collaborative learning and the development of AI prototypes, automations, and workflows.

  • Organise AI speaker sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and roundtable discussions.

  • Explore AI applications in business, research, education, and personal productivity. • Facilitate AI/vibe-coding hackathons and explore relevant competitions and external opportunities.

  • Encourage peer learning, knowledge sharing, and networking through AI coffee meetups.
