The Cranfield Autonomous Society will be a student-led hub where innovation and curiosity meets real-world engineering. We aim to bring together passionate students from across the university to explore the fast-moving world of intelligent mobility.
We will work on project-based on autonoumous pod that simulate the autonomous technologies. Our focus will be on learning by experimenting with ideas, developing and testing algorithms, building simulations, and turning concepts into practical outcomes that deepen understanding and skills.
We will take on challenges such as bringing complex autonomous vehicles to life, transforming a bare shell with no documentation into a fully functional system. Come join us.
For this year the joining fee is set to £10.
What do we offer -
1. A chance to work on a real autonomous project.
2. Access to a github repo with different projects that you can clone and get hands on experience. (You can flaunt these projects on your CV)
3. We will connect academia with industry through guest lectures.
4. Industrial visits, and collaborative workshops.
These activities will give the opportunity to experience cutting-edge autonomous technologies in action, engage with engineers and researchers, and better understand the future of mobility and automation.
Whether you will be joining as an engineer, programmer, designer, or simply as someone curious about autonomous technology, the Cranfield Autonomous Vehicle Society will be a place to learn, explore, create, and grow alongside like-minded peers.
